Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery – 3 years Eligibility
The Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) is a 3-year program designed to equip students with the essential skills and knowledge to become competent nurses and midwives. This course prepares students for nursing practice in a variety of healthcare settings, focusing on both clinical skills and theoretical knowledge necessary for providing quality care.
Eligibility
- Educational Qualification:
Candidates must have completed 10+2 with English and must have obtained a minimum of 40% marks in the qualifying examination, with English passed individually, from any recognized board. - Open School Eligibility:
Candidates from State Open Schools, recognized by the State Government, and from the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS), recognized by the Central Government, are also eligible. - Science Background:
A background in Science is preferable but not mandatory.
