Master of Science in Nursing
The Master of science in Nursing (M.Sc Nursing) program is designed for in-service nursing practitioners and candidates who have completed a BSc Nursing or PBBSc Nursing course. This program aims to enhance their academic knowledge, training, skills, competency, and the standards required for professional nursing and midwifery practice at an advanced level.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must hold a degree in Nursing (BSc Nursing or PBBSc Nursing) and be registered nurses. Candidates who are above 48 years of age as of 31st December of the admission year are not eligible. The course duration is two academic years, starting from the date of commencement of the term as notified by the University. The medium of instruction and examination for the course is English.
Departments
The MSc Nursing program includes four departments:

- Community Health Nursing
- Paediatric Nursing
- Obstetrics and Gynaecological (OBG) Nursing
Each department has an annual intake of five students, with a total intake of 20 students per year.
